Since 1926, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) has helped more than 1 million pets in need. The ARL is Iowa’s largest nonprofit animal shelter, caring for many thousands of pets each year. The ARL serves people and pets from across the state of Iowa through its programs, which include pet adoption, humane education, pet behavior training, spay/neuter, animal cruelty intervention, and much more. 

In October of 2024, Canine Country Club was honored to partner with the ARL to bring the west side community ARL Club WDM! Now, meeting your best friend is easier than ever before. Visit ARL Club WDM during open hours, and don’t forget to take a tour of Canine Country Club to receive a $50 gift certificate to spoil your new best friend! All dogs adopted through ARL Club WDM will also receive a lifetime discount to Canine Country Club for services (excluding training) in the future!
